The flavour of this year’s New Ross Piano Festival was definitely Hungarian, including Klára Würtz and Zoltán Fejérvári (piano), Kristóf Baráti (violin) and István Várdai (cello) – as well as the composers,Kodály, Bartók, Liszt, and György Kurtág. Young Irish pianist Seán Morgan-Rooney also appeared in the concert with the Hungarian musicologist Endre Tóth. The programme was organised with the support of the Embassy of Hungary.
