There is extensive cooperation between Hungary and Ireland in the field of economy, investment, education and peacekeeping, said Mr Péter Szijjártó, Hungarian Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, during his visit to Dublin on Tuesday. The significance of the visit is underlined by the fact that the last time a Hungarian foreign minister visited Ireland was 20 years ago.

SMOG-1 Hungarian satellite successfully launched
On March 22, 2021, another small Hungarian satellite was launched into space. After several postponements, the SMOG-1 satellite was successfully launched into space. The primary mission of the satellite is to study human-induced electromagnetic pollution in the area around the Earth.
